Nicole is a Digital Journalism and International Relations undergraduate at Syracuse University, NY. She enjoys human-centered stories, and experimenting with interactive graphics.
She has contributed to five desks at The Straits Times, Singapore -- including Foreign, Video, and Art. She was a 2023 School of The New York Times Gap Year Program student, and is an incoming intern at the Council of Europe's Directorate of Communications.
In 2023 she was awarded the Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) Overseas Journalism Scholarship, a full-ride undergraduate scholarship. Outside of reporting, she is a research assistant on two projects at the S.I. Newhouse School Of Public Communications; namely "The West as Cultural Studies’ Constitutive Center," and "The Role of Communication in Collaborative Women’s Health Projects."
